Love this series! It's a light fun cozy mystery with a paranormal twist. Glory's uncle's ghost is showing himself through his parrot, Bluebeard, that Glory inherited with his souvenir shop.

In this one, a lady in town on business is killed after buying some postcards. Bluebeard provides clues to help solve the murder.

Glory actually owns 55% of the business and her cousin (who lives in Alabama) owns the 45%. She's trying to save money to buy him out and starts selling tshirts/mugs/etc with Bluebeard's image on them.

A romance is blooming, although not Glory's. The story continues in one more book that I can't wait to read.

This is the third installment of the Haunted Souvenir Shop mystery series featuring Gloryanna "Glory" Martine. Glory runs Second Treasures souvenir shop with the help of part time clerk Julie Nelson, long distance nagging advice and criticism from her partner and cousin Peter, and the joyful antics and distractions of her beloved parrot Bluebeard.

Bridget McKenna is the bank auditor hired by Back Bay Bank to investigate the shady investments made by the bank and their connection to the now defunct Bayvue Estates built by local developer Andrew Marshall. Something about Bridget appeals to Glory and she decides to befriend the woman who is fast becoming the locals most disliked outsider.

After taking her best friend Karen Freed, to meet Bridget and share a light supper, Glory is shocked to learn a few days later that the woman has been found dead in the bank's model home. Police suspect a drug overdose but Glory thinks she knows better and decides to uncover the truth.

The series once again revolves around Glory's close knit circle of friends including Karen, Felipe, Ernie, Sly and boyfriend? Jake. The group continues in their weekly Thursday night suppers where they are able to sit and share tidbits beneficial to Glory's investigation.

Perhaps my favorite part of this series is Bluebeard. Her Uncle Louis' beloved parrot that Glory inherited with Second Treasures. Her Uncle Louis inhabits Bluebeards body and occasionally speaks through the bird. In between all of his swearing, demands for coffee and roguish behavior with the ladies, Uncle Louis will spout out a clue or two for Glory to follow.

As another reviewer mentioned earlier I can't quite figure out the connections between the titles and the actual storylines in this series. Yes, there was a brief mention of a postcard but you are left hanging as to it's actual relevance to the plot. The ending in this book was very abrupt, like the author just decided one page that the next would be the last.

I will continue to read the series because I do love Bluebeard and enjoy Glory's friends and after waiting this long would like to see the relationship between Glory and Jake evolve into something meaningful.

As the earlier reviewer mentioned, I enjoy that cast of characters and the parrot, Bluebeard, who also occasionally channels Glory's late uncle. And, as the earlier reviewer mentioned, the title has little to do with the plot, and honestly, I didn't quite the significance of the postcard element anyway. Not quite as satisfying as earlier installments of the series, but I'll give it another chance if No. 4 comes along.
