This was fine - a somewhat interesting cast of characters. It was hard to find anyone in the story (including the detectives) to much care about. The victim's obnoxious behavior was interesting for a while. It definitely provided a picture of some people who lived outside the mainstream. The murder itself and resulting trial were a little hard to plough through. Decently written though.
A true story of deadly deception. On May 18, 1987, a Ford belonging to Florida contractor Bob Grantham was discovered in the parking lot of the airport and was covered with blood. It started out as a routine investigation but ended up going into unexpected directions. Grantham was a gambler and a cheat and he had staged his own death several years earlier so it appeared it may have been another one of his elaborate frauds. But was it? You'll have to read the book!
Good true crime mystery.
