Patterson has taken on the project of writing about true crime and so far the writing as been very good, unlike other true crime writers that spend a lot of pages just describing the background of every person mentioned (which only takes up pages) he only gives a brief descriptions of the past starting with the crime, his true crime books are written just like he's telling a story of fiction with the short chapters and very easy to read print and only tells the facts and doesn't slide off into unwanted descriptions of no use

I recommend this book as a quick easy read
