Cosy murder mystery set in rural Virginia with cats, dogs, and horses. Levity and likable characters make this series worth reading.
Her books are excellent, her characters including the animal friends, seem so real--you can't help NOT wanting to put it down until your done!

This book has a jockey murdered after the annual steeplechase race. Harry & Mrs. Murphy try to solve the murder with the help of Pewter & Tee Tucker. Somehow the animals always figure it out before the people.
Another great book in this series where the cat helps tell the story. The characters are great, with another mystery to solve.
One of a series of the Mrs. Murphy mysteries, in which a cat and dog, along with their animal friends, help their owner to solve crimes. Cute premise, and these animals are written to be as smart, or smarter, than their owner! I really liked the book.
I love this series. It's a mystery and yet funny.
I'm not too involved with this "series" but want to know it better.
