Really enjoyed this first book in the series. I had thought it was going to be more "fluffy" and was pleasantly surprised at the twists and turns it took.

Well-written police procedural with a likeable lead character. First in the series.

This is my first Lee Harris book, and the first book in the Manhattan series. I'm glad I ordered and received the second book in the series, as the first was very, very good. Plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing and not too much "romance" to seem out of place and to distract from the main storyline. The characters were likable and I felt the reader could connect to them. When I'm done with this series, I just might have to check out some other Lee Harris books.
Great book

This is a great book! First one in a group of "police procedurals" with a great new female cop. I read the second one before this one and enjoyed both of them., Now am starting the third one. I hope she writes more of them!!
I finally found a new female character that holds my interest! Interesting police procedures while the characters investigate cold case files. I sure hope Jane Bauer is a continuing character.
Good start of a series with police officer Jane Bauer.
Good mystery
1st in the series. This was a great book with enjoyable characters and a well written mystery!

I really liked this book and have recently ordered the next two in the series. I think I may have found a new mystery writer to follow.
I really enjoyed this book.
Four years ago, Arlen Quill was found dead in the entryway to his apartment building - leaving no clues, no witnesses and no leads.
