I loved this book! I think it's a book I could have sat down & read cover to cover, even if my house fell down around me. Really, I think I'd forgotten how much I love Christine Feehan's books! Like another reviewer said - this "Game" series is some of Christine Feehan's best.

Anyway, I thought it was one of the best "Game" books in a while. I just love when the heroine is IT for the hero - Kadan just knew from the beginning that he couldn't and didn't want to live without Tansy. No "I'm fighting this for stupid reasons" kind of thing. I do have one niggling thing.... something that wasn't resolved (at least for me), but maybe it will be continued in the next one?

One thing I do want to say is that I disagree to a point with the people who said Kadan was over-the-top alpha/dominant. I think he was your typical Feehan alpha hero... but he came across to me as insecure and even vulnerable. I don't think his behavior and demands toward Tansy bordered on abuse. He honestly felt like he didn't deserve her, had never hoped to have what he did with her and he was so afraid she wouldn't accept him. I feel like he did and said the things he did because he needed her THAT much. Tansy wasn't a spinless heroine at all. She was stubborn and courageous and I feel that she would have stood up to Kadan if he treated her in a way unacceptable to her. She knew how desperate he was for her.

If you're a fan of this series, you don't want to miss Murder Game!!!

I have followed Christine Feehan's "Ghostwalker" series from its inception and enjoyed them immensely. I have every book and read them all several times each. This one is a huge disappointment. It's Kadan's story. I had enjoyed his character in previous books so was thrilled to begin this story. Unfortunately, this book walks a thin line between Alpha male/subordinate woman and spouse abuse and I think it crosses it. Tansy is supposed to accept him touching her anywhere at any time even though she was uncomfortable with it because he "needs" to. Tansy is supposed to accept him "fisting" her hair and forcing her in oral sex even to the point that it causes her initial pain but that's okay because he "needs" it, and so on throughout the book Unlike prior books where the Alpha male is tamed by the equally alpha female, in this one Tansy is shown as subordinate in all things. I didn't like that at all.

This story is about Kadan, a Ghostwalker, who finds Tansy, another of the lost girls. Kanan and Tansy are partnered by Whitney.
Whitney is a scientist with dreams of building the best army in the world. He has enhanced. mentally and physically, with genetic implants.

Ghostwalkers are murdering in a game and Kanan's teams are being accused. His job is to find and terminate the guilty,

Erotic scenes abound but they finally complete the mission.

Feehan is always good. Four stars.

The Ghostwalker series is in my opinion, the best of the series that Christine Feehan has going now. It mixes the paranormal romance and the romantic suspense genres well. This is Kadan's story. As others have mentioned, he is hardcore alpha, so if you like your men dominant, this is for you. We get to re-visit several of other Ghostwalkers and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Jeff. This could be read out of order with no problems.

For those readers who love Christine Feehan's alpha males, this one's for you. The hero is about as alpha as you can get, which is something that gets old for me in her books. That said, it's a good read for the supernatural plotting and the Ghostwalker series' progression. Just not my type!

After reading one Carpathian novel, I wanted to give Feehan another chance. But, this is the second and last book I will be reading of hers. Twice, in the book, the main character said to his love interest "if you ever do that again, I will beat you within an inch of your life." Now, if my partner or love interest said that to me, I would RUN, not walk. It's verbal abuse, plain and simple. The amount of manhandling the main character does is also astonishing. I'd have gotten a restraining order, and a gun if I were the heroine in this novel. I'm honestly surprised this is a romance novel ... to me, it was more of an abusive controlling man having a sick fixation with a woman who clearly couldn't stand up for herself and RUN.

I like this author, she has good story lines, however, I can do without all the descriptions, page after page of sex scenes, and thinking, thinking, thinking. Just get on with the main story! Story is good without all those boring pages in between the story.

Another page-turning saga about the Ghostwalkers [and the ladies they love:]. Kadan and Tansy make great a hero/heroine/couple. Many characters from previous Ghostwalker books appear in supporting roles. Dr. Whitney is still slime, but not the only slimy character in existence. If violence and bloody justice offends, stay away. Good, action-oriented read.

I wanted to like this book and really liked the main character from previous books in the serious but he was more than dominant and domineering. He was abusive and a total control freak. I had to stop about halfway and just skim the rest to get the mystery resolved.

Nice action right from the get go. Enough mystery to keep the action moving. I really enjoy Christine Feehan's books. Lots of romance and sex and tons of action too!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, just like all the others. Feehan does a good job of developing the characters, plot and the bad guys. She keeps you guessing till the end and always throws in a little extra unexpected bit at the end. She is one of my favorite authors and can always be relied upon to provide a great read. Warning: A bit too heavy on the erotica for young readers.

I'm sorry for those who think this is Ms. Feehan's best, but no. The so-called Murder game was soo simplisticly portrayed, it was boring. Also, the sex was too over the top, to the point I skipped the sex scenes to get to the investigation and the paranormal aspect of the characters.
That said, I really liked that Kadan was protrayed in the other novels as the most reliable warrior to have at your side when the sh*t hits the fan, and in this novel he was de-constructed into a mass of quivering goo. Yep, that's what love does to a body. Tansy I did not like very much, but any girl who can get Kadan to break down to his knee and pop the question, gets a passing note from me.
