Not having read the first two books in this series or anything by this author, I was not sure if I would like either the book or the author. But the description sounded so good that I had to give it a try and I am glad that I did.

The action kept on coming with each turning of the page. There are just enough clues (and some miscues) along the way to keep you guessing who the killer is. I have to admit that I thought a couple of times I knew who the killer was and then had to reevaluate my decision when a new clue came along.

I will for sure go back and read the first two books in the series so I can get to know more about Sydney and how she became a reporter. And to see what other mysteries she has solved.
