I received an ecopy of this book as a contest prize. I probably wouldn't have discovered the author otherwise. Since it's the only book I've read in this series so far, I have to say it whetted my appetite for more of Jessie Beckett and her forays into the world of mystery solving. The book is set in the Roaring 20's in the California film industry...an era I've read little of in fiction. I loved it and look forward to more from Miss Miley. This story ended leaving a little bit of a cliff hanger that tells me to watch for more books in this series coming down the road. Now all I need to do is scout out the previous 3 books in the series. SMBSLT! ...sigh... Doncha just luv it?
