True crime, nonfiction, this is different from the dozens of TC, NF books I have read. There was no trial in this case. No autopsy, there were a couple grand juries, police kept tight lid on case, all those involved lawyered up. FBI completed test on the recovered pistol, results not revealed. Hospital records? Were there other scams involved? The questions go on and on and on, not to mention legalities of inheritance. Much philosophy, every question leads to many more, in the end, double murder, suicide. Lots of news coverage but short on answers, Charles Stuart's frantic 911 call and body being pulled from Mystic River, his dying wife and baby....what all really happened???
