Love Lee Harris and love this book. Excellent plot lines, plenty of twists and turns, good character development, not too much romance, not too much blood and gore, surprise ending. Will seek out more Lee Harris novels!
Great story... gets more involved as it goes along..
Newly promoted to detective first-grade with the NYPD, Jane Bauer is back to work after a nearly fatal run-in with a killer. She is happy to back on the job, but she has little hope of solving her new case--but then things start moving right along.

I enjoyed this very much having just finished it. Jane Bauer is a real addition to the "police procedural" genre
Second book in the Jane Bauer series. I really enjoyed both book, and especailly the nicelittle twist at the ends!
Good entry in series.
This is the second in the Jane Bauer series. Jane and her NYPD partners solve cold cases. It starts a bit slow, but picks up and has a good mystery.
I am new to the Manhattan Mysteries, but so far I have enjoyed them all. Tight writing, good police procedural without being dry, interesting twists, although I felt in this book that the final chapter (twist) was unnecessary...

Second in the series and once again Harris takes the plot in several directions, eventually leading to a surprising but, satisying conclusion.
Not quite as engaging as some of the Manhatten Murder Mysteries but still a good book for a murder mystery fan.
Excellent book, I have enjoyed this series, Lee Harris gives the in's on working cold cases this is a very believable book.
