I really enjoyed this book-I did guess who the murderer was pretty much right away but it was still fun reading and I wasn't 100% sure all the time reading it. She kept me second guessing myself most of the way through the book.

I though the book was OK. I liked it up until Alison has a major snag with her sort of boyfriend. If I say to much I will give it away, but I just didn't like it. To leave something that major out of a conversation is pretty big, but then again the author does not give the characters much time to talk about other things besides the murder investigation. I don't even see how they were a couple. Only finished the book because I started it. Not interested in the other books.

Chick lit with smart women, comedy and a murder mystery all rolled into one. I really enjoyed this!

This was a lighter, fluffier mystery than what I usually read. There were places where the writing was uneven. (Like starting every sentence in an entire paragraph with the word "I." "I walked to the kitchen. I got a piece of cake. I sat down and ate it. I washed the dishes.") I also felt that there wasn't a huge mystery in this novel. I think this was due to the fact that the main character wasn't really doing anything to solve the mystery. Despite all this, I liked the characters and will probably read the sequel to this novel, to see if the writing improves.
