beautiful african fable childrens book.
This was a wonderful princess story that reflects more of the inner beauty than the outer beauty of most commercialized princess stories. Although these girls are pretty on the inside, we loved how their true character shined through. Even my three-year old son kept asking to read it over.

An Arfican Cinderella story.
I was pleased to rediscover this book recently, since reading it as a child. It's one of those books that stuck with me in my memory due to the art, but I could never remember the name. Now I have it, and am pleased that the art still lives up to my memories, if not more so. GORGEOUS book and a nice old African tale that'll please children, especially girls.
