Book #10 in the Mrs. Pollifax series. Mrs. Pollifax is to shoot some pictures in Washington and take them to Sicily. Of course, things don't go as planned and Mrs. Pollifax has to do some quick thinking. Another fun mystery with Mrs Pollifax saving the day.

An elderly spy, a retired agent and a reluctant assassin makes a great combination for a wonderful series.

Another fun read from Dorothy Gilman! I like the way she tosses in local color from the places that Mrs. Pollifax goes for her cases. It makes me want to travel there myself.

If you enjoy Mrs. Pollifax's adventures, you'll enjoy this one too. Or maybe you won't. As it is a very different adventure, although Mrs. P. still gets shot at once.

Mrs. Pollifax off on another adventure where she risks her life for an old friend. Emily (Mrs. Pollifax) is given a "supposedly" easy assignment to take some photos at a funeral and then fly to Italy and hand them over to Farrell...but as usual, something goes wrong and the adventure begins. another good story from Dorothy Gilman.
Number 10 in the series.
Mrs. Polifax is an unusual CIA spy. She's a late middle-aged sleuth who somehow always managed to end up in "hot water."
