I enjoyed this, as I enjoy all of this series. This was one of the best ones though. A woman thinks someone is trying to keill her, and Mrs Jeffries has to figure out whether it is her family, who wants her money, or whether it is because her dog found a body in the garden. It was a fun read.

Enjoyed this one very much. Wonderful cozies, easy reads and the characters are loads of fun to read about. Such fun and a good mystery. Had suspicions but didn't have it all. Love the dogs.

Mrs. Jeffries and her household staff of the inspecter help behind the scenes to investigate a murder. Much to the inspectors surprise, he is never aware of it. These are based in London. Very enjoyable series.

Cute mystery set in Victorian London. This book is about mid-way through the series. It was my first time reading the series and the author does a good job of bringing the reader up to date on the characters and what has gone on before in the other books in the series without weighing down the current story.
I liked this rather unique premise. All the domestic servants employed by the hapless Scotland Yard Inspector (unbeknownst to him) work to solve the murder mystery while making it appear that the Inspector did all the heavy lifting to solve the mystery. I liked the tidbits of life in Victorian England the book provided and the characters were fun to follow along with as they solved the mystery.
I'll try some more books in this series soon when I want a quiet cozy type mystery to unwind with.
