Great read. Good mystery and I love the characters! I'm working my way through the series and this is one of the ones I liked the best.

I have read almost all of Emily Brightwell's Mrs. Jeffries books and I love them! They are so good I have many on my wish list. In this victorian mystery Mrs. Jeffries rounds up her gang of helpers to solve this murder...as she always does. A delightful little cozy. Mrs. Jeffries surpasses Miss Marple!
Great light reading. Mrs. Jeffries does it again.

What I like about this series is everyone gets to make a major contribution in solving the crime, just not in every book. Sometimes it is Mrs Jeffries, sometimes it is the Inspector, sometimes Constable Barnes or one of the household staff.
