This was a fun story in this series and as usual the characters are a great bunch to read about. Always cozy, a light romance going on and a fast read. The books always start with a bang and just keep going. There is just the right amount of information and description about locations without being boring. She does keep the action going with all of the characters doing their part.

An enjoyable Victorian mystery with Inspector Weatherspoon's staff helping solve the murder without him being any the wiser.

A quick, but enjoyable read. Although this wasn't one of my favorite of the series, it was still good.

Harrison Nye may have been involved in some dubious business dealings, but no one ever expected him to be mrdered. Now InspectorWitherspoon must root out the perpetrator of the underhanded deed. Nye's business associate visited him just hours before the murder and seems to know more than he'sl etting on. And when his maid disappears, this dirty business gets even deadlier. Now Mrs. Jeffries and her staff must root through teh sins of Nye's past to discover which one caught up with him.

Another Victorian mystery in which Mrs. Jeffries, housekeeper to Inspector Witherspoon, does much of his thinking for him and a good bit of the leg work, aided by the kitchen staff. A witty, comfortable cozy.

Mrs. Jeffries and her household staff of the inspecter help behind the scenes to investigate a murder. Much to the inspectors surprise, he is never aware of it. These are based in London. Very enjoyable series.

Emily Brightwell created an amazing set of characters. An admirable female lead, and interesting supporting characters that return in and around her story lines.
