I have read most of Emily Brightwell's books and have loved them all. Unfortunately, they are not easy to find. This is her current book in paperback and as usual it's great. I love the characters and each individual plot. In this one a young women is murdered and of course, there are many suspects but Mrs. Jeffries finds the guilty one. All of Mrs. Jeffries stories are great
"cozy mysteries" for those who enjoy reading them. No excessive violence, sex or nasty language. Just an easy relaxing read. I highly recommend!

Love the Mrs. Jefferies series...In this addition, a beautiful young woman is killed, and as usual there is no lack of suspects...Mrs. Jeffries and her army of behind the scenes crew gathers clues and she adroitly passes them on to the Inspector ......the characters are likable and the interaction between them is warm and believable......I would love to sit in the kitchen with them and have a cuppa and one of Mrs. Goodge's scones.......

This was another great mystery and also a continuation of the characters and a wonderful series, cozy, warm, funny and full of great human beings who love one another in one household. Introduction of another character this time, she may turn out to be very beneficial to the crew.
