The true story of a small museum in California in which the exhibits may or may not be real! This books tells an interesting story about a place unlike any other as well as a history of museums. The writer presents the material with humor and really makes you fell like you are in the museum with him. A great non-fiction read!

Ever think about what was actually in those strange cabinets of wonder kept as museums in days past? Lawrence Weschler begins to understand the nature of the curious imagination when he investigates the Museum of Jurassic Technology. You'll wonder! and be amazed! by the objects he describes! but you will also ask which ones are real - or you may begin to see everything as an oddity.
