I have read all the Monk books and honestly this one was the best ---- Adding his brother Ambrose to the whole story was such a GREAT idea. Everything has changed and yet it is still the same and to have these three characters together on the road in a trailer was just a delight! Then because they're camping - all the characters they meet on the road, in the campgrounds, at the sites just add to a purely delightful, interesting read! I lost count of all the crimes he solved. I finished the book in 8 hours and am eagerly awaiting Mr. Goldberg's next adventure staring Monk!!!!

Another excellent addition to the 'Monk' canon. I like the character of Ambrose, Monk's brother. This story features Monk's intention to give Ambrose a fuller life for a birthday present. There are, of course, the requisite number of bodies (that seem to follow Monk wherever he goes) as well as Natalie overcoming her (to Monk) irrational fear of RVs and their connection to devil worshipers. This one is as good (if not better) than the others.

I like all the Monk books, though some are far more entertaining than others. This one is a winner! Loved having Ambrose as a part of the story this time.

If you liked the TV series, you'll love this book, written from Natalie's viewpoint. Especially with Adrian's agorophobic brother Ambrose in on the fun.

While entertaining, I don't agree this is one of the best of the series. It's a bit unusual too, in that Monk walks away from at least two murders without solving them right away. But that's all explained in the end.
