I make the recipes in this book often. My favorites are Candy-Apple Pie and Brownie Cheesecake Bars. Some of them require a store bought mix (such as brownie mix for the brownie cheesecake bars)but that is part of the time saving convenience. It has helpful information in the front like weights and measures and ingredient substitutions (such as melted butter and milk instead of heavy cream). Very, very useful for easy, convenient, delicious desserts.

Great cookbook from a great writer and cook. Love that you can substitute things and make it your own real easy. He is the only cookbook author I know that has made his recipes easy enough to do that with.
