This book made me laugh out loud -- the writing is clever with VERY Northern Irish dialogue. The scene when Israel has to deliver the puppies in the back of the mobile library while they're escaping the police and trying to find the missing Mr. Dixon is hilarious! It's the 2nd book in the series -- now I'm going to find the first!

This is deftly plotted novel with unforgettable people in hilarious situations. For all who love libraries, librarians and Ian Sansom's wit. Warning: can be addictive.
