Great true crime book and long for the genre at almost 500 pages. Really fascinating story about burglar/killer Gary C. Evans. I really enjoyed the author, M. William Phelps, writing ability and plan to order his two other books, Perfect Poison and Lethal Guardian.

Good book - very strange relationship. A little repetitive in places but still a good read. "A serial killer who preyed on his closest friends - and a tough cop's relentless quest to catch him..." The criminal mind is a strange thing.
