Compelling historical novel
Historical based fiction-well written, keeps you engaged.
The title of this book is what drew me to look into the reviews and order this book. It is set just prior to and during the Russian Revolution. This is a hard look at life of the lowest classes in Russia. But there is hope and love and it is an interesting read. Historical fiction, but not too much. The ending was abrupt.
