Helpful Score: 2
The 1st, 3rd, and 4th stories were good but the 2nd story was very boring. I am only giving this book 2 1/2 stars because it doesn't deserve anymore than that.

The Julie Kenner story takes place between Aphrodite's Kiss and Aphrodite's Passion. It is a nice novella involving an undercover protector and a mortal.

4 novelettes by authors known for amusing urban fantasy/paranormal stories, which I love. However, 2 of these are historicals. All 4 are great fun. The theme is match-making, grandbaby hungry mothers, who, it seems are the same in any era.

Andie never expected the man of her dreams to fall from the sky....

A Mothers Way Anthology
Mother: May I by Lynsay Sands 1353 London, England
Lord Jonathon of Fairleys mother has been throwing her friends daughters at him for five years, since her husband and older son died. She needed to get creative and act innocent.a plan is formed and moves forward. First King Edward informs Jonathan he must marry in two weeks. Then she gets her daughters friend, Alice of Houghton, to help him find the perfect wife. As long as Jonathan doesnt suspect her of meddling.this plan might just work.

The Breeding Season by Lisa Cach 1750 Bath, England
What better help for shy Charles Highcroft to be pushed into being social then Evelina Johnson. Their mothers decided their son and daughter needed to help each other. Evelina was getting a bit of a reputation with the men shed been kissing and poor Charles was more than content with his horses. After all, it was much easier to be around animals than people. And as simple as Charles chose to dress, Evelina preferred the highest fashions. Can this mismatched couple really help each other? With meddling mothers.anything is possible. I loved the way the author brought the characters to life, especially Charles who really grabbed this readers heart with his shyness.
