On Mother's Lap
Author: Ann Herbert Scott, Glo Coalson (Illustrator)
Michael's favorite place to be is on Mother's lap, cuddled close in her arms in the big rocking chair. But is there room for his new baby sister, too? This delightful children's story will help pave the way for the new baby. Set in the Arctic, the pictures are vivid and inviting. The text is simple and warm.

I loved this simple story about a little boy in Alaska who likes to sit on his mothers lap. But, he does not think there is room in mommy's lap for baby sister. He finds out int he end there is more then enough room in mommy's lap for both of them.
