The poems I read--Mosaic, Alone, Abortion and Purple Haze--are indelibly marked with sorrow. The pain from which the subject matter comes is part-and-parcel of these poems. Unimaginable is the author's ability to impart the emotion behind the poems to the reader's consciousness. The author has undertaken a great task to put her life's events into poetry, and has mastered that task. Well done.
