This is the 9th of a wonderfully crafted and well written story line that involves magic, realms, good, evil and a complex story. This book is not going to be as wonderfully satisfying to read if you have skipped the first 8... but since I didn't skip them it was like some wonderfully savored dark chocolate, the supply of which got cut off when the book ended. DANG!

This one was a little harder to get into at first, but I got about 1/3 into the book I couldn't put it down. It takes its time but it's a worthwhile story. Definitely read the other ones first. Strong characters and intriguing plotline.
