Mortal Sins was excellent and this series just keeps getting better and better. I was happy that Lily and Rule were the main focus in this book. They are in North Carolina to get full custody of his son, when Rule finds some bodies in the woods. These bodies have a trace of death magic and Lily starts the investigation of what killed them and why. This story was suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed every aspect of this book and I cannot wait to read the next one.

Excellent! Fabulous!
I loved this book. It truly made me smack my lips in satisfaction after having finished it.
While I have enjoyed all the books in the series, the books with Lily and Rule as the main characters remain my favorites. This one was the best of them all. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship solidify and grow. The characterizations were terrific and the storyline fast paced and captivating. I literally couldn't put it down.

I really enjoyed this book because it was complex. It's not a typical paranormal romance so if you are looking for a really easy romance read, this is probably not for you. The main characters are well developed and I was fascinated by all the little details of the lupi ceremonies. I read the 1st & 3rd in the series and missed the other two but Wilks does a good job of recapturing the essentials. Looking forward to the next ones, and lucky for me I hear that book #10 was just published!.

The world has changed with the Turning now there is magic,
dragons, sorcerers,and a whole lot MORE . . .
This paranormal tale is the 1st I have read. I found I could
not put it down for long. Filled with twists, a captivating
world that seemed real and plausible. YES! I recommend it.
This is not your light fluff stuff, so hang in there.

Great story!!! Another great book in this series!!!!
This book was good as an urban fantasy. However, the romance between Lily and Rule seems to have been replaced by FBI cases. I am feeling disappointed that what began as a great series appears to be changing its core genre. I don't know if I will continue the series.
Will Rule and Lily ever catch a break? I have to admit that i put this book down 3 times before i finished it. It just didn't catch my attention until at least halfway. The appearance of Toby's mother, with her new husband, so she can get custody of Toby and give him a drug to stop him from "changing" was interesting. All the while, a spirit revived by blood magic is killing off innocent citizens of the town. I am becoming bored with this series, but i am not quite ready to give up yet...

Rule is terrific. What an alpha male! This was a great book and possibly the best in the series so far. The rules and regs of a werewolf pride (?) are fascinating. I can only imagine where Eileen Wilks is going to take this series next. Can't wait.
I really love this series. This was even better than the ones before it. Can't wait for the next one.
Agent Lily and her Lupus husband adventure away. GReat story can't wait for the next book!
