Really well written. Very enjoyable. From the view of Mordred, King Arthur's son and nemesis.

I was very disappointed. I found this book to be hard to get into and boring. I did not read the sequel because I disliked this book so much.

Not a bad take on the legend, although the Mordred narrating the book is a little too emo teen angst for my taste -- I guess when you read a book about Mordred you are kind of asking for emo teen angst, being as how he is the original emo teen! -- and I kind of feel the last ten pages or so are worth the entire rest of the book.
