Brother Cadfael is an unusual detective. Devoted to a quiet life in charge of the herbarium, he finds his skills are needed to search out a murderer as his order seeks to acquire the bones of a saint. While I often figure out the plot and the murderer I found that while I eliminated many of the possible culprits it was nearly the end before I figured it out. Good read.
