Another deft, droll social comedy from Victoria Clayton, which she does so beautifully. Romance abounds in this tale; Bobbie has more romance than she knows what to do with, especially since much of it is unwelcomed. The author has crafted some wonderful characters in this tale, characters that you embrace and care about. This is a wonderful romp, although with all of Clayton's books, it is slow to gain momentum, but once it does it is unstoppable. A real delight that I hated to see end, yet I couldn't wait to get to the end to find out what happens. This is an author who deserves to be better known outside of the U.K.
