I tend to be disappointed by anthologies as the stories end up feeling rushed and incomplete. This book has been sitting on my table for over six months, and I grabbed it on my way out to run errands yesterday. The stories were quick reads, interesting in their own ways...but still managed to feel rushed and blunted because of the nature of anthologies. This is one I'd recommend to friends that want a quick read by some of the more know authors in the genre, but it's not one that will be added to my permanent collection.

I enjoyed Susan Sizemore's even though it was too short ~ its a vamp story.
Lori Handeland's stories are always good ~ its part of her werewolf series which I recommend. The other 2 were ok.

4 paranormal short stories by great authors... I picked this up for the Susan Sizemore and Maggie Shanyne stories... but I really enjoyed the Lori Handeland and Caridad Pineiro stories!
Susan Sizemore has a story involving a vampire rock star :)
Maggie Shayne's story is a younger-man/older-woman love story with a bit of haunting from a young female ghost :)
Lori Handeland mixes werewolves and "people of the wolf"...interesting concept :)
Caridad Pineiro pits saving the world through science & medicine and a jungle tribe of shapeshifters.
Overall a good, quick read!
