Another good Nora Roberts book with an interesting twist at the end about a father who dies and leaves behind a ranch worth twenty million dollars - now his 3 daughters - each born of a different mother and each unknown by the others - are gathered to hear the reading of the will. But the women are shocked to learn that before any of them can inherit, they must live together on the ranch for 1 year.

I enjoyed learning about the three sisters, that had never met each other and had nothing in common, who were left a ranch worth millions. Throw in a mad man running around killing people and small fury critters, and it made for a very enjoyable read. Oh yea, can't forget the steamy sex scences either :)

This book is the perfect example of judging by the cover. I have had this book for quite awhile and have neglected to read it because it just did not grab me reading the cover. But, since I am one of those who reads an authors entire book list, it was time. I LOVED this book. Grabs you at the beginning and is full of so much humor with the interaction between the three siblings, which in this case are strangers, and the strange environment two are forced to live in. Many times, I found myself laughing until tears were streaming, but yet it is so very believable and such an interesting read from cover to cover. Just disregard the cover intro.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! It is one of my Favorites by Nora Roberts! I wish this were a three part story though cause it's told from the perspective of one woman, I wish it would pick up from one of the other two women's perspectives and keep on going. Like how the Garden Series did. The Blue Dahlia, Black Rose & Red Lilly.

A great mystery until the end. I never would have guessed the story line. What more can you ask for? Love, romance, mystery, death, birth, etc. GREAT, great book!!!

Romantic thriller set on a sprawling Montana cattle ranch as three half-sisters settle uneasily into the terms of their late father's will, requiring them to live together for one year before title of the land passes to them. Things get complicated when mutiliated bodies of humans and animals start turning up.
