I liked the plot and storyline of the book a lot. This is the first book I have read by Genell Dellin and I had a hard time focusing. It was slow in parts. So i was disappointed some what but the plot was a good one that kept me reading so I could find out if Blue choose revenge or love.

The book begins with Blue Bowman being freed from a 10yr murder sentence. He meets up with a ranch hand who offers him a job at a wealthy ranch. It turns out to be the ranch of Gordon Campbell - Blue's biological father who his mother claimed abandoned him and his sister and refused to help her support them.

Blue takes the job gentling horses and he meets up with the veterinarian Andie Lee Hart who is a single mother of a teenage son who is killing himself with drugs. Blue doesn't want any type of attachment he wants to be free to fulfil his only objective and that is to destroy the man who destroyed his family...Gordon Campbel.

Blue struggles with what he has been planning for the past ten years, reality and the desired to be loved and to love.

I thought the book slow in some areas, but over all it was a warm romance with human struggles. I liked it over all.
