This is the most impressive book I have ever read about the psychology of the female! I found it true in every respect given my own history. My mother did not put away hidden money as far as I know and was always struggling to make ends meet with an alcoholic husband. Since I watched her struggle, the first time my practicing alcoholic husband asked "What did you do with MY money?," I vowed that I would never be in my mother's position and got a job--putting my child in day care. Looking back, I should have just done what the author said and hidden some grocery money away, but with a practicing alcoholic even getting grocery money was hard. This book does not deal with alcoholism, but it does deal with the tendency of women to "hide" a bit of cash for necessity and the fear we have about money in all its inequality between the sexes, i.e., our fear of having too materialistic and therefore "unfeminine" and our insecurity about knowing the need for money and our fear of being too money oriented.

I would recommend this book to each and every man and woman to further understanding and enlightenment in relations.
