I really, really, really wanted to like this book. I had been hoping that it would be an encouraging book for Catholic moms.
There were a few lines here and there that encouraged me as a Catholic mother, but I had to wade through things like:
*The author's complaints about being a pregnant seminarian (icky morning sickness and being too pregnant to fit into the albs for sacraments class),
*101 guru/zen master quotes and chapters on eastern philosophy/religion
*"Duck Day"--a chapter where the author writes that people getting together to feed ducks pleases Jesus more than going to mass.
If you're looking for encouragement as a Catholic mom, this might not be what you're looking for.
