There was some new information in this book for me but nothing I couldn't have found on the web. The worse thing about the book is annoying typographical errors. She states on page 290:

The grand jury returned an indictment that afternoon charging Casey with first-degree capital murder, writing that she'd violated Florida Statues with a "premeditated design to to effect the death of Casey Marie Anthony"

Seriously. Proof read anyone? That should say "Caylee Marie Anthony". And there was another place in the book where the same mistake was made. While you can expect this type of mistake to said during a live interview when its easy to get all their names mix up, to read it not once but TWICE in a book makes me feel the author is just trying to make a quick buck and strike while the iron is hot.

It was an easy read, but if you have followed the case closely, you know all of this stuff anyway.

If you kept up at all with the Casey Anthony story this is the book for you. I followed the story in the news and found the book fascinating even though I already knew a lot of the details. It's an easy read and makes you wonder what is wrong with that girl. A very sad story but made me think what where the parents thinking not to see the warning signs that their daughter was unstable.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was interesting to learn about aspects of the case that haven't been exposed in other ways. If there was any doubt that she did it before, it will be gone once you read this book.

I've read a lot of true crime books in my day and I must say this woman is the most evil person I've read about yet. To not report her daughter missing for 5 weeks clearly shows she knew exactly what had happened to her. I was disturbed and disgusted while reading this book. The author done a good job with what she had to work with, police transcripts and the like, but it makes the writing a bit jerky in my opinion. The author states at the end that this monster is scheduled to go on trial this month in FL so I am eager to follow the trial and learn more. She also writes in the book a scenerio of what the police feel Casey done to Caylee and it was so horrifying that I had to lay the book down so I could absorb someone doing that to their baby much less to any human being.My heart aches for this little girl and the horror and terror she had to have felt knowing it was her mother hurting her. May she rest in peace, I will never forget her.

I suppose almost everyone in America knows about this case but here is a synopsis anyway: A little girl named Caylee goes missing in June 2008 and her mother inexplicably waits for about a month to report her little daughter missing. This book delves into the dynamic of the Anthony Family - especially George and his interactions with the rest of the family. It explores the beginnings of the case against Casey and although it was written before the 'Not Guilty' verdict, it does some investigation of the pathology of Casey Anthony as well.

I have to say that I truly believe that Casey had something to do with her daughter's murder, whether it was accidentally or out of spite towards her parents, I just can't decide. I suppose that we will never really know the truth of Caylee's death but I certainly will never forget little Caylee or all the other missing children out there. I give the book an A+!

This was a very enjoyable book about a horrible crime. Sadly, the real life verdict came out before I could finish the book, so I just didn't have the heart to continue reading. A warning for other OCD people out there, there are quite a few spelling errors and places where I'm pretty sure they wrote "Casey" instead of "Caylee", its easy to figure out what they meant, just a little annoying to have to.
