Very cute time travel romance. Jackie gets caught in a Colorado mountain snowstorm after being stranded by her loser lover. She falls back in time through a painting and is mistaken for Lolita Belle. Cole Morrison is a wanna be miner, widowed, with a son. He kidnaps her thinking she is Lolita. They fall in love. Assuming she can figure a way back to modern times, should she stay with Cole and his son and the very lovable character, Chief Byron? Or should she return to the modern world and all of its conveniences? Very good book!

I liked this book so much I ended up with two copies. Jackie Clarke finds her self biking back to civilization after a romantic getaway in the mountains goes sour. But she takes a wrong turn and soon landsin a abandoned ghost town, where in one moment she's staring at a risque portrait of a saloon singer, and in the next she's transported back to t he year 1891! Now everyone assumes she is that saloon singer. including the rugged Mel Gibson-look-alike who's just kidnapped her.

Jackie Clarke is hiking through a snowstorm in the mountains of Colorado, when she stumbles into a ghost town. Seeking shelter, she finds an abandoned saloon which features a risque portrait of saloon singer Lolita Belle. When she touches the portrait, Jackie finds herself transported back in time to the year 1891...where everyone thinks she's Lolita.

Cole Morrison is a down on his luck miner who is offered a small fortune to kidnap Lolita Belle and bring her to a competing saloon. Desperate for money, he agrees to it. But he soon finds out that Jackie/Lolita might be more trouble than she's worth.

This is a fast moving time-travel story with very likable characters. My rating: 4 Stars.

Western Time Travel Adventure.

Some days you just can't win; others you can't win and get thrown back in time. Jackie Clarke is having one of the latter days and that's only the beginning of her troubles.

Jackie finds herself suddenly hurled back to 1891 compliments of a glowing painting in an abandoned saloon. She is mistaken for an infamous saloon singer named Lolita Belle, although not all the voluptuous Miss Belle's assets correspond, and she can't sing a note that doesn't grate on the ears like nails on a chalkboard.

Within hours, she finds herself at the mercy of a struggling miner who kidnaps her for the gold he'll receive from a competing saloon owner. The miner, Cole Morrison, is raising a son on his own. He quickly discovers his feelings growing for his abducted house guest and not a little guilt over the deed.
