m the oldest of three children. There is eight years between me and my youngest sister, and yes, all three of us are girls. Did we miss a brother growing up? You bet, but now we have brother-in-laws, and they are the cat's meow's most days.

But, when we grew up, some days we absolutely hated one another, and other days we were best pals. We stood up for one another, and then we also snickered behind closed doors when one of us got into trouble. But as adults now, we get along great and cherish the time the three of us can get together alone, without all the kids and hubbies tagging along.

I also have two teenagers, a boy and a girl. And yet again, somedays they hate one another and other days they are best friends. I hope, as I'm sure all parents hope, that they are raising children to be good responsible adults, and I hope my children, as adults, remain good friends and and count on one another, through good and bad.

MOM STILL LIKES YOU BEST is a compilation of stories of siblings. There are stories of very young children, and stories of siblings in their 30's, 40's, 50's and you get the picture. There are stories of just brothers, just sisters, brothers and sisters, and army brats. Stories of being the oldest, being the youngest, being the middle child. But throughout the book, as a sibling, I found myself nodding my head, "Oh yes, we did that" Or gasping out loud at some of the antics of these siblings.

So if your a sibling, you'll enjoy MOM STILL LIKES YOU BEST. And if your an only child, but always thought you wanted a sibling, pick up the book too! You may learn a few things of what happens between brothers and sisters.
