This is a wonderful little book of patterns. It has basic mitten directions for both adult & child sizes in the beginning, then it has 40 graphed designs, mostly geometric or floral. The patterns are from knitted goods from "the storm-tossed island of Gotland, off the coast of Sweden". You'll have to already know how to knit to use this book, it is not for rank beginners.
