My mother in law liked it.

My aunt gifted me a beautiful hardcover of this book for my 9th birthday and I still have it on my "keepers" shelf. Yes I am a twin. I must have read Mitch & Amy 100 times in the years (ahem, decades!) since receiving it. It was my favorite then and remains one of my all-time favorites now.

Mitch and Amy are thoroughly believable as 9 year olds. The dialog and tales that are included here are realistic and non-condescending. Their experiences include both struggling and succeeding in school, squabbling with and also feeling love and pride for your sibling, and the very timely theme of dealing with bullying. It all holds up beautifully these days and will undoubtedly be savored by all who read it.

If you have twins in your life, they (and you!) should seek out and read this wonderful book.
