Summary:
Willa Dixon's life has changed dramatically since her brother Levi was murdered. Now she is not able to fulfill her dream of working on her family's lobster boat. As her life continues to spiral out of control, she turns to the Grey Man for answers. The Grey Man is a local legend of a spirit that haunts the lighthouse. When Willa heads to the light house, she finds that the Grey Man is really a boy that is cursed to capture 1,000 souls. He knows that he will not be able to do that, so he hatches a plan to convince Willa to switch places with him. Since Willa's life seems to be going down hill, what's to stop her?

My thoughts:
This starts slow but definitely grows on you. Since Willa believes that she is the reason her brother has died, she has to go through a variety of emotions. I was surprised that this was mainly about dealing with problems and growing up compared to the obvious paranormal aspect of the story. It's also an interesting take on a rather old legend. Overall, I enjoyed the story even though it definitely has some pacing issues.
