This book has a very different feel. I loved the fact that the typical male/female roles were not there. It was not emphasized. Gender just was not an issue. The story is a jungle adventure, a little bit of a love/relationship story, but the story is not a romance. The suspense and sub-character plotting will keep you wondering as you travel with the main characters.

This book is definitely worth the reading time. I kept my copy for re-reading. I have looked for more by this author, but so far have only found one short story.
