A nice imaginative story with interesting characters. I was expecting a shapeshifter book but was pleasantly suprised at the different plot twist with regard to Indian legends and Guardian spirits. I figured out the killer pretty quickly but the father was a surprise. I would recommend it for light summer reading.

I found this to be a disappointing nocturne read. Instead of paranormal world building there were complaints about city people and kids using cell phones. There wasn't a lot of love or romance but there was an unexpected creepy bestiality dream. The villain was obvious.
