An okay read, not quite as interesting as her "The Woman In Black," though. It's very subtle, and nothing really happens until the very end, and a lot is left up to the reader's imagination (and the coincidence that the end throws out is sort of off-putting.)

An interesting read. Set in England turn of the century. A well told story, mystery builds and pulls you in subtlely. Follows the story of a young adventurer tracing the steps of his "hero" until he uncovers a connection that is life-changing.
From the back cover:
"An inveterate traveller, Sir James Monmouth has spent most of his life abroad. He arrives in England on a dark and rainy night with the intention of discovering more, not only about himself but his obsession with Conrad Vane, an explorer. Warned against following his trail, Sir James experiences some extraordinary happenings."
