Stephen White's Missing Persons is about Dr. Alan Gregory. Once again, he is pulled into a criminal investigation. This time it starts when he finds another therapist dead and a young girl goes missing on Christmas Eve. The police are afraid that it will be another unsolved crime like the other girl who was killed in Boulder on Christmas Eve. Alan tries to solve the crime and keep the confidential information he learns in sessions to himself.
It is one that you will want to read straight through to see how it ends.

Stephen white is on of the better writers when it comes to medical thrillers. This one is very good.

A psychological thriller featuring psychologist, Alan Gregory, written by bestselling author, Stephen White. A good book.
this is a comfortable(taller)paperback. good medical/phychological thriller.
Excellent Alan Gregory mystery. But this one rings close to home as his long time partner died mysteriouly and has the Boulder police deptartment baffled. Recommend for any fans of Stephen's.

If you like psychological thrillers, Stephen White it the author for you. I buy all his books, and this one did not disappoint me. His main character, Alan Gregory, is believable and likable.
White continues to provide incredible insight with this psychological thriller. A book you will not easily put down.
I enjoyed this book, as did several of my friends.

This was an interesting book but trying to describe it is difficult. It is kind of like an airplane ride. You take off fast and bumpy, then you're in the air and have lots of turbulence that keeps you on your toes, and then the plane lands on a soft, billowy pillow. If you like a 'nice' read, this is it.
Good book! Lengthy and rambling, but interesting and all the pieces came together in the end.
I love this author, even though he keeps you reading waaaaaaaaay into the wee hours.

All the books in this series are great.
Alan Gregory finds his colleague dead, and one of her patients went missing on Christmas Day. Alan, a psychologist, looks into the murder of his colleague and finds a connection to the missing little girl.
Dr. Alan Gregory tries to find the killer of a fellow therapist. He runs into trouble with a patients who are asking for privacy for events he wants to tell the police.
I especially like Stephen White's books because they are set in Boulder. Excellent read.
One of his best.
Only Psychologist, Alan Cregory can decispher the clues to the murder of his friend, Hannah. You will enjoy how he does it. I did.

Another good one in the Alan Gregory series. I feel like I know this character from reading so many Stephen White books, and this book places him in an ethical quandry like many of the previous tales. It also refers many times to the JonBenet Ramsey murder, which also took place in Boulder around Christmas, and remains unsolved.
One doozy of a whodunit.
Excellent author, good book, quick read.

I couldn't get into this one. The series is tending more toward mystery than thriller, and Missing Persons just crawled along to me.
