I really like this series! This is the second book. It was a really good mystery, if at times a bit confusing in the middle, with characters I really like. I'm anxious to read book #3 which is on my TBR pile having ordered it when I was about halfway through this one knowing I was going to want MORE!

This was a good follow up in Alafair Burke's Samantha Kincaid series. I appreciate the way the author incorporates the inner workings of the justice system in her stories.
I am really enjoying this author and series. The characters are believable and likeable. The mystery is good, and Alafair spins lots of law knowledge into the tale, so you learn something, too!
