Amazing story! I received this story from Netgalley ebook and I haven't read anything as captivating, humorous, and witty, with real characters you can relate to. Andrea (Andy) is seeking employment, and her previous job was to be the date for a highly successful businessman for public events, and for her to "spy" and get information for him. Andy is a straight shooter, will not hold back but will say what she thinks despite what impact it will hold. Her sister comes across an ad one day for a "matchmaker" to help a rich successful IT guy find a wife. At first Andy is reluctant and even when she goes to the interview she finds out just how despicable Mr. Blake Donovan is. The office scene where they first meet reminded me of the scene out of Fifty Shades of Gray. But Mr. Donovan does not exhibit secrets similar to Christian Gray. I like how this story tells you what Mr. Donovan is thinking and when she gets hired and tries to find out more about him and his personal interests, it is funny how stuffy he gets and lies about his interests, rather than being able to be himself. Even though Mr. Donovan is a successful businessman, this story works on making him human and likable. Another similarity with Fifty Shades was his secret room, but his secret is so hilarious that I laughed. The twists and turns, and the misunderstandings that play out, and the banter between the two are just comical. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and wished it was just as long as the 50 Shades of Gray. I am definitely going to buy this one when it comes out!
