From the cover - When Lyon and his friends go down to Clement's Pond, they discover a bug surprise - a real, live baby! They can't just leave it there, but they can't bring it home either. With a storm coming on, they have to act fast. Why not just leave it on old Miss Adeline's front porch?

Just one problem: Miss Adeline thinks the baby is a miracle from Heaven - and so does everyone else in town. If anyone finds out what really happened, Lyon's in very big trouble. Miracles are supposed to be good things, but Lyon knows better: Babies and miracles don't mix!
