Brooke Justice has moved from her hometown to Adams Grove to get away from her soon to be Ex-husband, Keith. Her best friend Jenny has followed her and has opened a Yoga studio so she can help Brooke get over her disastrous marriage. Brooke is working for the County as an Ag Agent and has to travel around helping local farmers & ranchers with their farm programs. Brooke is extremely superstitious and watches for all her good luck charms, rainbows, Cardinals, four leaf clovers, etc. During one visit to a horse ranch she meets a hunk of a guy, she has sworn off men, and is instantly attracted. When things start being moved, or disturbed in her home when she is gone, she calls her Attorney and asks for his help finding a Private Investigator to see if her Ex is the one breaking into her home. Surprise, the PI turns out to be the Hunk from the horse farm!
This is a cute story, with some mystery and romance. I look forward to reading more of Nancy Naigle's books.
